About Dominic Kauffmann
Dominic is a New York All State saxophonist from Suffolk County. He is currently studying Music Education at Hofstra University. He found his love for performing when he was offered a Cinco de Mayo gig at the local restaurant Del Fuego. Since then, he has performed for many different restaurants and locations, playing music from Billy Joel and Frank Sinatra all the way to present pop stars such as Bruno Mars and Maroon 5. Dominic has an incredible knack for entertaining, and no space is too big or small! He has performed at charity events, such as the World Of Pink Foundation’s annual gala. Dominic is available to perform anywhere on the island with sufficient notice.
As A teacher
Dominic has taught multiple saxophone lessons to all ages, most recently preparing a few students for their NYSSMA festivals. He has studied under masterful saxophonists, such as The New York Philharmonic's very own Steven Kenyon, and jazz musician Alejandro Aviles. On the pop side of things, Dominic has also studied with The Lucky Chop’s Tenor Saxophone player Daro Behroozi. As an aspiring music educator, he looks to inspire students through music. Most importantly, Dominic understands that learning and making music should be fun!
